Our STORY

Shared Connection was created by us, Alyssa and Damir Orlov, during pandemic. We felt that kids are struggling emotionally without interaction with outside world. So we organized zooms with kids where we talked, played and supported younger kids.

Shared Connection created Zoom opportunities for kids who craved connection with peers. We provided online support to kids who cannot receive it in their learning and living environments.

When the pandemic hit, everyone was cut off from the outside world. Many suffered greatly because of that. Personally, I am an extrovert. I need to talk to people, otherwise, I become very frustrated and upset. Our mission is to bring more social activity into people’s lives. We aim to give a friend to those who need one and offer a shoulder to cry on as well. Shared Connections hopes to be an organization that people can count on as a real friend and an organization that can help anyone across the world. Our mission is to help those in need of a friend and those in need of emotional support.
